Arginine can Help You Lose Weight

Monday, June 23, 2014 10:47:03 AM America/Chicago

If you don’t want to lose weight, you probably know someone who does. People these days, in general, are quite obsessed with losing weight, and it’s no wonder they are, since the junk foods we eat have us packing on the pounds.

For those who want to lose weight, obviously a change in dietary habits, as well as exercise, can lead to positive results. And then, of course, there are some other things a person can do to help lose weight.

Have you ever heard of arginine? It’s one of essential amino acids that may aid in weight loss when taken as a supplement.

Arginine is associated with nitric oxide, which helps blood flow better throughout the body. Arginine is very beneficial to a person’s body. It helps improve a person’s muscular strength, their libido, the function of their heart, and protein synthesis. As an energy booster, arginine helps people feel less sluggish and more robust, able to confidently do things they want and need to do to lose weight, such as jogging or weight-training.

Sante Global makes “Arginine Infusion,” which is a nutritional supplement powder. Arginine Infusion gives a person the energy boost needed to exercise harder and longer in order to burn the fat they want to lose.

Daily use of Arginine Infusion helps improve a person’s overall quality-of-life, and Sante Global believes in the product so much that they offer a no questions asked full refund to anyone who is not completely satisfied—so it’s worth a try!

Can Arginine Prevent Hair Loss?

Thursday, June 19, 2014 9:03:50 AM America/Chicago

Can Arginine Prevent Hair Loss?

Despite the many benefits of arginine, preventing hair loss is not a proven one, according to Dr. Ray Sahelian, a specialist in natural supplements.

While many creams containing the semi-essential amino acid promote its helpfulness in preventing and slowing down hair loss, this is simply not the case.

In fact, as told by Sahelian, no studies have ever been published supporting the claim that arginine cream is effective as a hair loss treatment.

Here’s where it gets a bit tricky on whether arginine can help prevent hair loss. Some of the signs of an arginine deficiency include constipation, rashes, slow wound healing and hair loss. However, from a scientific point of view, the argument that “decreased blood flow causing male pattern balding and of minoxidil restoring hair growth through increased dilation of blood vessels is too simplistic.” So, just because hair loss is often attributed to poor circulation, arginine likely won’t help prevent it, despite the assumption that an arginine cream could help increase circulation and thus restoring hair growth.

What are some benefits of arginine?

Despite its inability to help with hair loss, according to the Mayo Clinic, the amino acid may be beneficial in treating certain health conditions including angina, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, vascular disease, erectile dysfunction, among others.

What’s more, arginine not only assists in changing ammonia in the body to urea to be eliminated as waste, but it’s also needed to produce creatine, a substance that your muscles benefit from. Arginine can also aid in healing wounds, bodybuilding and increasing sperm production.

So while it’s quite questionable whether arginine is helpful in preventing hair loss, the amino acid is beneficial in many other ways – in natural and supplemental forms.
