Monday, June 23, 2014 10:47:03 AM America/Chicago

If you don’t want to lose weight, you probably know someone who does. People these days, in general, are quite obsessed with losing weight, and it’s no wonder they are, since the junk foods we eat have us packing on the pounds.

For those who want to lose weight, obviously a change in dietary habits, as well as exercise, can lead to positive results. And then, of course, there are some other things a person can do to help lose weight.

Have you ever heard of arginine? It’s one of essential amino acids that may aid in weight loss when taken as a supplement.

Arginine is associated with nitric oxide, which helps blood flow better throughout the body. Arginine is very beneficial to a person’s body. It helps improve a person’s muscular strength, their libido, the function of their heart, and protein synthesis. As an energy booster, arginine helps people feel less sluggish and more robust, able to confidently do things they want and need to do to lose weight, such as jogging or weight-training.

Sante Global makes “Arginine Infusion,” which is a nutritional supplement powder. Arginine Infusion gives a person the energy boost needed to exercise harder and longer in order to burn the fat they want to lose.

Daily use of Arginine Infusion helps improve a person’s overall quality-of-life, and Sante Global believes in the product so much that they offer a no questions asked full refund to anyone who is not completely satisfied—so it’s worth a try!

Arginine and Male Infertility

Tuesday, June 17, 2014 12:42:05 PM America/Chicago

For those couples who are struggling with fertility issues, sometimes it’s the man who is having the problem. Idiopathic male infertility is a condition where a man is unable to cause pregnancy in a fertile female. The term idiopathic means the cause is not known or arises spontaneously.

Male infertility doesn’t get much attention from the press, but it does account for almost half of all infertility cases, and is typically due to deficiencies in a man’s semen. Couples who are trying to conceive a child can become very downhearted when faced with the prospect that “for some reason, it’s just not happening.”

According to an article on FoodConsumer.org, researcher David Liu, PhD, mentions that there are several things a man can take to deal with idiopathic infertility. Besides garlic, fish oil, and peanuts, Liu recommends arginine.

A pre-cursor to nitric oxide, arginine is an amino acid that serves many important functions in the body including cell division, removing ammonia, healing wounds and releasing hormones. Arginine helps get the blood oxygenated and flowing well throughout the body. It has been used, in conjunction with other treatments, to help men deal with erectile dysfunction, as well as several other problems.

Arginine is mentioned in the July 2014 Seminars in Reproductive Medicine academic journal as something that may help with idiopathic male infertility. While the body naturally makes arginine, sometimes, for various reasons, it may not be making enough.

Sante Global’s Arginine Infusion is a powdered supplement with a berry flavor. Mixed with water, it becomes a refreshing drink that contributes to a person’s overall health, delivering arginine and other beneficial ingredients to the body. If you’re dealing with infertility issues, it may be wise to increase you intake of arginine to your daily diet, to see if it solves infertility problems.

All About Nitric Oxide

Wednesday, June 11, 2014 3:49:06 PM America/Chicago

What Nitric Oxide is

A gas that produced naturally in the body, nitric oxide is used to communicate between cells. In fact, nitric oxide (NO) is produced when “enzymes in the body break down the amino acid, arginine,” according to registered dietitian and American Dietetic Association spokesperson, Jim White.

While you may think nitric oxide supplements contain nitric oxide - and that’s what many would assume - they don’t! Fact of the matter is nitric oxide supplement contains arginine, which is found in supplement form, or can be consumed naturally through foods including spinach, shrimp, white turkey meat, and sesame seeds.

What Nitric Oxide does for your body

Now that we know what it is, let’s get into some of the things nitric oxide does for your body. As we said above, its main job is to deliver messages between the cells in your body; however, it also plays a significant role in “controlling the circulation of blood and regulating activities of the brain, lungs, liver, kidneys, stomach and other organs.”

Nitric oxide is also great for those looking to build muscle, as it plays a role in releasing hormones and adrenaline. This gas can also increase growth and recovery times by increasing blood flow. This results in more nutrients getting to the muscles, allowing them to grow.

As you can see, there is a significant relationship between nitric oxide and arginine. While you can obtain both NO and arginine naturally, to ensure you’re getting a substantial amount of these, you might think about taking arginine as a supplement, especially if you’re an athlete, as research shows arginine may positively affect athletic performance.

How Arginine can Help a Pregnant Mother

Tuesday, March 11, 2014 8:17:20 AM America/Chicago

Arginine is an amino acid that can help a pregnant woman loosen up her blood vessels and speed up recovery time when it comes to healing tissue damage. Arginine aids in creating a flow of nitric oxide in a person’s bloodstream, helping one’s blood flow and bringing proper oxygen levels to all organs. It helps people feel healthier.

As an amino acid, arginine is produced by the body, as well as found in various foods like meat, seafood, nuts and soybeans. It can also be obtained through supplements like Arginine Infusion.

Pregnant women can benefit from increasing their arginine intake if they want or need to lessen hypertension deriving from “pre-eclampsia,” a situation that can lead to both maternal and neonatal death. Should the baby inside your womb have to go through pre-eclampsia, arginine has been known to help loosen the blood vessels so both mother and child experience some relief from the condition.

According to a report published in the British Medical Journal, foods that included arginine and antioxidant vitamins “reduced the incidence of pre-eclampsia in a populace at high risk of the condition.” Research also seems to indicate that arginine is most helpful during the initial stage of pregnancy.

Keep in mind that it’s recommended to discuss the topic of arginine supplements with your doctor. If you recently experienced a heart attack, or are taking insulin supplements or cholesterol meds, you should not use arginine supplements while pregnant. Otherwise, supplements like Sante Global’s Arginine Infusion may prove to be beneficial to the health of both expectant mothers and their unborn children.

What Causes Asthma and How Can You Treat It

Friday, January 17, 2014 11:29:38 AM America/Chicago

Asthma is a chronic disease that can restrict the lung’s airflow, making it difficult to breath.  Asthmatics often have “triggers’’ which cause the inside of their airways to inflame, making it difficult to catch their breath and breathe.  Moreover, it increases the risk of a possible allergic reaction.

For the majority of asthmatics, their triggers are one or more of the following:

- Allergies .  Examples of allergies are dog hair, cat hair, cut grass, ragweed etc.

- Exercise. Running around, regardless of the shape they are in, can quickly become hazardous.

- Smoke, specifically cigarette or cigar smoke.  Asthma can be triggered even if they aren’t the ones smoking; simply sitting near a smoker can trigger it.

- Other illnesses.  Whether it’s a common cold, a sinus infection or a different ailment, a separate infliction can ignite asthma symptoms.

-  Environmental factors (i.e. ragweed or pollen season).

- Other mitigating factors, such as genetics.

Unfortunately, there is not a way to permanently cure asthma.  However, asthma can be treated and managed to ensure asthmatics are able to live a quality life.  Most asthmatics will take a puff out of a preventative inhaler each day in order to “stay ahead” of a potential asthma attack.  In addition, they may take a pill, or another form of medicine to manage and control their asthma.

Perhaps just as, if not more important, it is critical for asthmatics to do what they can to avoid their triggers.  Sometimes there is nothing one can do to avoid them; in those instances,  it is vital to have a “rescue inhaler” on hand.  Hopefully, the preventative approach will help an asthmatic avoid an attack, but if they do suffer an attack, it’s important they have their rescue inhaler.  The rescue inhaler is separate from their preventative one, as it provides instant steroidal relief and can help asthmatics avoid a trip to the emergency room.

Ultimately, it’s important for asthmatics to meet with their doctor and outline a treatment and prevention plan with them.  Also, it could be prudent to try a natural supplement, such as  L-Arginine.   L-Arginine assists asthmatics by opening up their pulmonary pathways, allowing them to breathe easier and more efficiently.  To learn more about how it can help asthmatics, please contact Sante Global today.

The Top 5 Ways to Prevent Heart Disease

Thursday, November 14, 2013 2:38:19 PM America/Chicago

Although heart disease is the leading killer of both men and women in the United States, it is often labeled as an unknown or silent killer, as many people who suffer from it have minor or unrecognizable symptoms. Because women can have very different symptoms from men, heart disease is often diagnosed too late, or in some cases, not at all.

There are ways to prevent the onset of heart disease while you’re still healthy. The proper diet, lifestyle, and exercise can greatly lessen the chances of heart disease taking over your life.

5 ways to Prevent Heart Disease:

1. Proper Exercise - Exercise is a major factor in the successful prevention of heart disease. Walking at least 30 minutes a day, at least 3 times a week consistently, is a great way to remain healthy and strengthen the heart.

2. No Smoking - If you are a tobacco smoker, it is necessary to stop smoking in order to prevent it from affecting your heart. If you’ve never smoked, it is best to keep it that way. Smokers have a significantly higher risk of getting heart disease than non-smokers. By narrowing the blood vessels, nicotine makes the heart work harder to pump blood through the body. Studies have found that even non-smokers who are consistently around smokers, are in danger of inhaling second hand smoke. So stay clear of the tobacco products as much as possible.

3. Heart Healthy Diet - Eating a nutritional diet is one of the best ways to prevent heart disease. Foods low in cholesterol, fat, and sodium, are a part of a heart healthy diet plan. It is good to consume foods rich in healthy fats like omega 3. Salmon is one of those foods rich in omega 3 fats, and olive oil is also a great addition to a healthy eating plan. Steer clear of unhealthy fats, such as, saturated and trans fats. Red meats, deep fried foods, and many pre-packaged items are foods that should be taken off of your list.

4. Regular Check-Ups - Visiting the doctor at least once a year, for a physical exam, is another effective prevention method. Getting regular check-ups can help to prevent heart disease and many other health conditions. Finding signs and symptoms ahead of time can make a real difference in preventing and reversing the disease.

5. Maintain a Healthy Weight - Maintaining a healthy weight is one of the simplest, yet most challenging ways to prevent heart disease. If you find it difficult to eat healthily and exercise, seek counsel from your doctor who may have suggestions and referrals to a dietician or nutritionist that can help lessen the challenge.

Lastly, consider helping your heart by taking natural supplements.  For example, Arginine Infusion supplements from Sante Global can improve your cardiovascular health, especially when you take it in accordance with the aforementioned recommendations.

5 Healthy Steps to Slowing Down the Aging Process

Wednesday, October 9, 2013 1:15:35 PM America/Chicago

5 Healthy Steps to Slowing Down the Aging Process

Though aging has plenty to do with your state of mind, and how you feel about it; there are still plenty of ways to slow down the actual physical aging process.

Of course, taking care of yourself, eating a healthy and moderate diet, and regular exercise, are key factors to aging in a healthy way; but there are other ways to keep your healthy vibrant energy flowing well into your golden years.

Vitamin D

Many doctors call vitamin D, the ultimate anti-ager. Vitamin D strengthens almost every part of the body, and even nourishes the mind, improving memory. Making certain that you get your daily requirement of vitamin D, has also been proven to fight off cancer. 1000 milligrams is the suggested daily requirement, or 1200 milligrams’ if you’re over age 60.

Fresh Air

Never underestimate the healing powers of fresh air and sunshine. Sunlight produces serotonin, a chemical the body produces, that naturally boosts your mood. It’s healthy to spend as much time in the sun and fresh air, as possible. Sometimes just getting out of the house, can make you feel better.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is another supplement that should be added to your daily regimen. Vitamin C assists your body in making collagen, which keeps your skin young and elastic. Foods rich in vitamin C, such as strawberries, are great for collagen production. You can make a daily practice of eating them for breakfast, plus other foods, that are rich in vitamin C.

Lessen Stress

Reducing the stress in your life can keep you young and healthy. There are many ways to relieve stress and bring some calm into your world. Meditation is a great practice for tapping into that calm space within. Walking is also a fun way to relieve stress. Take a daily walk out in nature, or a nearby park.

HGH

HGH is a natural hormone the body produces that regulates growth, slows down the aging process, and can produce results, such as younger looking skin, a better sex drive, a boost in your mood, and more  physical energy. According to WebMD, HGH also works in conjunction with collagen, to produce even better anti-aging results. HGH can come in the form of injections or supplements.  Be sure to consult your doctor before adding any supplements to your daily routine.

The anti-aging process is a daily process of being mindful of how you treat yourself. Eat well, find ways of handling the stress of everyday life, and take supplements to improve your health and vitality.

Sante Global carries many supplements that slow down the aging process, increases vitality, and prevents many ailments that can come with age. Our products naturally increase the production of HGH in the body, which combined with a healthy lifestyle, can add many more healthy years to your life.

Natural Ways to Reduce High Blood Pressure

Wednesday, September 25, 2013 9:07:13 AM America/Chicago

High blood pressure is one of the most common ailments afflicting Americans today. Also known as “hypertension,” high blood pressure is a medical condition where blood pressure in your arteries is elevated, forcing your heart to work hard to pump blood.

There’s a long list of why you or your loved one would not want high blood pressure, including stroke, heart attack, heart failure, aneurysms of the arteries, kidney disease, and, to top it off, a shortened life expectancy.

To combat high blood pressure, try reducing the amount of salt and alcohol in your diet. Eat more fresh fruit and veggies. And for goodness sake, don’t just say you’ll exercise, but actually engage in consistent aerobic physical activity a couple times a week. That means take a walk or jog around the block, go for a bike ride, or dance to music in your living room. It’s important to de-stress your life if you’re going to properly deal with high blood pressure.

However, there are also natural ways to combat blood pressure that won’t take up your time or drastically change the way you live your life.  Sante Global makes products with a substance called L-Arginine, an essential amino acid. L-Arginine converts to nitric oxide in the body, enhancing blood flow and supporting cardiovascular health.

When you have high blood pressure, the pressure on your arterial walls is intense. Nitric oxide relaxes those walls. Consider getting L-Arginine products from Sante Global, such as soft gels or berry-blend powder, in order to see if they help you or your loved one with blood flow and overall well-being if you (or they) are experiencing high blood pressure.

How Sante Global Can Help Diabetics With Circulation Issues

Thursday, September 19, 2013 8:54:56 AM America/Chicago

People with diabetes often have problems with blood circulation in their body. Diabetics have to watch their diet, because it’s very easy for their blood sugar levels to rise quickly, and when that happens, sugar sticks to cells lining the blood vessel and arterial walls, causing them to swell. Over time, these walls become less elastic, which means the routes your blood would normally take to properly flow through your body for “normal” circulation get narrowed, hardened or blocked.

In essence, too much quickly consumed sugar is a bad thing for a diabetic because it messes up the “highway” the blood travels inside the body. Oftentimes, diabetics suffer from bad circulation in their legs and feet because the blood can’t flow as easily and freely as it normally would.

Honestly, poor circulation is not a good thing; it can lead to sores, infection, amputation (yikes!), stroke and heart disease. Do you want any of those problems? No way!

Some of the key ways you can avoid circulation problems as a diabetic are things you probably don’t want to do, but you need to do: quit smoking, eat healthier, and exercise regularly.

Additionally, Sante Global sells a product called L-Arginine, which is an advantageous product for diabetics. It’s a supplement made from natural ingredients that you could take to increase blood flow through your body. L-Arginine includes nitric oxide, which opens up blood vessels, allowing more oxygen to flow throughout your circulatory system. You should try it if you’re presently dealing with circulation problems due to diabetes or other factors, and enjoy the results.
