The Importance of Healthy Blood Pressure [INFOGRAPHIC]

Friday, October 4, 2013 3:36:18 PM America/Chicago

At great length, we've covered the array of health benefits provided by L-Arginine. However, it's good to thoroughly understand why keeping it in check is important. When your subconscious mind understands what is necessary for a happy and healthy life, it's easier to make the ID and the EGO agree.

What is Blood Pressure?

When you visit the doctor, you'll often hear your blood pressure number, and whether that's good or bad, but you don't really learn about the boundaries and limits of it all. The biggest question most people have is about the difference between Systolic and Diastolic blood pressure readings. Systolic is the higher number, and diastolic is a lower number. Systolic pressure measures when the heart is contracted, while diastolic is taken just before it contracts.

What is Considered "Normal" Blood Pressure?

What is normal and what is too high? It all comes down to what pressure normal for your body type, compared to what pressure an average healthy person has.

When the heart muscle contracts, it produces pressure of blood upon the walls of the vessels, this is your blood pressure.

A normal blood pressure occurs when everything is working properly, and the heart isn't exerting excess energy. When you produce adequate (but not excessive) blood pressure, that is a normal, healthy state.

What is “High” Blood Pressure?

High blood pressure is the sign of your heart working too hard. Though most symptoms are myths, as its mostly a symptomless condition (a silent killer). If you wait for symptoms, you're only a ticking clock; check your blood pressure often, and never skip an annual physical.

Natural Ways to Reduce High Blood Pressure

Wednesday, September 25, 2013 9:07:13 AM America/Chicago

High blood pressure is one of the most common ailments afflicting Americans today. Also known as “hypertension,” high blood pressure is a medical condition where blood pressure in your arteries is elevated, forcing your heart to work hard to pump blood.

There’s a long list of why you or your loved one would not want high blood pressure, including stroke, heart attack, heart failure, aneurysms of the arteries, kidney disease, and, to top it off, a shortened life expectancy.

To combat high blood pressure, try reducing the amount of salt and alcohol in your diet. Eat more fresh fruit and veggies. And for goodness sake, don’t just say you’ll exercise, but actually engage in consistent aerobic physical activity a couple times a week. That means take a walk or jog around the block, go for a bike ride, or dance to music in your living room. It’s important to de-stress your life if you’re going to properly deal with high blood pressure.

However, there are also natural ways to combat blood pressure that won’t take up your time or drastically change the way you live your life.  Sante Global makes products with a substance called L-Arginine, an essential amino acid. L-Arginine converts to nitric oxide in the body, enhancing blood flow and supporting cardiovascular health.

When you have high blood pressure, the pressure on your arterial walls is intense. Nitric oxide relaxes those walls. Consider getting L-Arginine products from Sante Global, such as soft gels or berry-blend powder, in order to see if they help you or your loved one with blood flow and overall well-being if you (or they) are experiencing high blood pressure.
