Study Shows Arginine can Improve Heart Health

Wednesday, May 7, 2014 9:51:40 AM America/Chicago

Sante Global’s Arginine Infusion is a nutritional supplement that’s becoming well known for people who want to improve their heart health. Arginine Infusion supplies the body with arginine, an amino acid that seems to benefit those dealing with, or—better yet— wanting to prevent, heart disease.

In a recent study published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology, large artery elasticity was found to occur in patients who took arginine compared to those who used a placebo. Furthermore, systematic vascular resistance was found to be significantly lower in patients using arginine.

The study also concluded that arginine helped decrease people’s systolic blood pressure, peripheral vascular resistance, and aldosterone levels.

Arginine helps the lining in your blood vessels create nitric oxide, which then increases the vessels’ flexibility and dilation. In essence, arginine helps people’s blood flow better throughout their cardiovascular system. If the blood’s not flowing properly, people are left to deal with all sorts of maladies.

Far too many Americans have been dying from heart attacks in the past couple years, and many people today suffer from problems such as clogged arteries, coronary artery disease, and chest pain. Their blood is not able to flow as it should.

Arginine, therefore, comes in handy by promoting proper blood pressure levels as well as “endothelial vascular function.”

Those with high blood pressure, excess weight or diabetes need to be careful regarding what they eat—they’re more likely to develop heart disease if they don’t take precautions in dealing with their bodies properly.

Sante Global’s Arginine Infusion is a convenient way to ingest arginine to help your blood flow and overall heart health.

The Top 5 Ways to Prevent Heart Disease

Thursday, November 14, 2013 2:38:19 PM America/Chicago

Although heart disease is the leading killer of both men and women in the United States, it is often labeled as an unknown or silent killer, as many people who suffer from it have minor or unrecognizable symptoms. Because women can have very different symptoms from men, heart disease is often diagnosed too late, or in some cases, not at all.

There are ways to prevent the onset of heart disease while you’re still healthy. The proper diet, lifestyle, and exercise can greatly lessen the chances of heart disease taking over your life.

5 ways to Prevent Heart Disease:

1. Proper Exercise - Exercise is a major factor in the successful prevention of heart disease. Walking at least 30 minutes a day, at least 3 times a week consistently, is a great way to remain healthy and strengthen the heart.

2. No Smoking - If you are a tobacco smoker, it is necessary to stop smoking in order to prevent it from affecting your heart. If you’ve never smoked, it is best to keep it that way. Smokers have a significantly higher risk of getting heart disease than non-smokers. By narrowing the blood vessels, nicotine makes the heart work harder to pump blood through the body. Studies have found that even non-smokers who are consistently around smokers, are in danger of inhaling second hand smoke. So stay clear of the tobacco products as much as possible.

3. Heart Healthy Diet - Eating a nutritional diet is one of the best ways to prevent heart disease. Foods low in cholesterol, fat, and sodium, are a part of a heart healthy diet plan. It is good to consume foods rich in healthy fats like omega 3. Salmon is one of those foods rich in omega 3 fats, and olive oil is also a great addition to a healthy eating plan. Steer clear of unhealthy fats, such as, saturated and trans fats. Red meats, deep fried foods, and many pre-packaged items are foods that should be taken off of your list.

4. Regular Check-Ups - Visiting the doctor at least once a year, for a physical exam, is another effective prevention method. Getting regular check-ups can help to prevent heart disease and many other health conditions. Finding signs and symptoms ahead of time can make a real difference in preventing and reversing the disease.

5. Maintain a Healthy Weight - Maintaining a healthy weight is one of the simplest, yet most challenging ways to prevent heart disease. If you find it difficult to eat healthily and exercise, seek counsel from your doctor who may have suggestions and referrals to a dietician or nutritionist that can help lessen the challenge.

Lastly, consider helping your heart by taking natural supplements.  For example, Arginine Infusion supplements from Sante Global can improve your cardiovascular health, especially when you take it in accordance with the aforementioned recommendations.

Arginine Deficiency and Depression

Monday, November 4, 2013 8:00:20 AM America/Chicago

According to the World Health Organization, more than 350 million people across the globe are suffering from depression. This devastatingly common mental illness is the leading cause of suicide and disability among people of all ages.

Depression is mood altering and creates emotional challenges that take over everyday living. There are a variety of treatments out there to help combat depression including various therapies and medications. The treatments, however, take a lot of time and patience to be successful.

Recent studies have shown that deficiency of the amino acid arginine can have an impact on depression symptoms. A lack of arginine in the body can lead to increased depression symptoms of depressed mood, lethargy and fatigue. This is because arginine deficiency reduces the production of hormones and substance that regulate chemical imbalances.

The ways in which an arginine deficiency can affect depression include:

Your body needs adequate production of nitric oxide, which needs arginine in order for the body to make it. Nitric oxide relaxes blood vessels through the process of vasodilation. Vasodilation helps to produce more blood flow, oxygen and nutrients in the body, which can decrease some depression symptoms.

Arginine supplements are a releasing agent for the human growth hormone. If you have a lack of hormone production and release of this hormone from the pituitary gland, it can result in reduced energy, depressed mood and poor immune response.

To neutralize ammonia in your bloodstream, which helps the liver to detoxify and regenerate, you need arginine. To remove toxins and heavy metals from your blood, you need a healthy liver. An unhealthy liver can lead to chemical imbalances that create mood changes.

If you are experiencing depression, talk to your physician about a possible arginine deficiency which can be boosted by supplementation. For any information about our arginine products, please feel free to contact us.

5 Healthy Steps to Slowing Down the Aging Process

5 Healthy Steps to Slowing Down the Aging Process

Though aging has plenty to do with your state of mind, and how you feel about it; there are still plenty of ways to slow down the actual physical aging process.

Of course, taking care of yourself, eating a healthy and moderate diet, and regular exercise, are key factors to aging in a healthy way; but there are other ways to keep your healthy vibrant energy flowing well into your golden years.

Vitamin D

Many doctors call vitamin D, the ultimate anti-ager. Vitamin D strengthens almost every part of the body, and even nourishes the mind, improving memory. Making certain that you get your daily requirement of vitamin D, has also been proven to fight off cancer. 1000 milligrams is the suggested daily requirement, or 1200 milligrams’ if you’re over age 60.

Fresh Air

Never underestimate the healing powers of fresh air and sunshine. Sunlight produces serotonin, a chemical the body produces, that naturally boosts your mood. It’s healthy to spend as much time in the sun and fresh air, as possible. Sometimes just getting out of the house, can make you feel better.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is another supplement that should be added to your daily regimen. Vitamin C assists your body in making collagen, which keeps your skin young and elastic. Foods rich in vitamin C, such as strawberries, are great for collagen production. You can make a daily practice of eating them for breakfast, plus other foods, that are rich in vitamin C.

Lessen Stress

Reducing the stress in your life can keep you young and healthy. There are many ways to relieve stress and bring some calm into your world. Meditation is a great practice for tapping into that calm space within. Walking is also a fun way to relieve stress. Take a daily walk out in nature, or a nearby park.

HGH

HGH is a natural hormone the body produces that regulates growth, slows down the aging process, and can produce results, such as younger looking skin, a better sex drive, a boost in your mood, and more  physical energy. According to WebMD, HGH also works in conjunction with collagen, to produce even better anti-aging results. HGH can come in the form of injections or supplements.  Be sure to consult your doctor before adding any supplements to your daily routine.

The anti-aging process is a daily process of being mindful of how you treat yourself. Eat well, find ways of handling the stress of everyday life, and take supplements to improve your health and vitality.

Sante Global carries many supplements that slow down the aging process, increases vitality, and prevents many ailments that can come with age. Our products naturally increase the production of HGH in the body, which combined with a healthy lifestyle, can add many more healthy years to your life.

How Sante Global Can Help Diabetics With Circulation Issues

Thursday, September 19, 2013 8:54:56 AM America/Chicago

People with diabetes often have problems with blood circulation in their body. Diabetics have to watch their diet, because it’s very easy for their blood sugar levels to rise quickly, and when that happens, sugar sticks to cells lining the blood vessel and arterial walls, causing them to swell. Over time, these walls become less elastic, which means the routes your blood would normally take to properly flow through your body for “normal” circulation get narrowed, hardened or blocked.

In essence, too much quickly consumed sugar is a bad thing for a diabetic because it messes up the “highway” the blood travels inside the body. Oftentimes, diabetics suffer from bad circulation in their legs and feet because the blood can’t flow as easily and freely as it normally would.

Honestly, poor circulation is not a good thing; it can lead to sores, infection, amputation (yikes!), stroke and heart disease. Do you want any of those problems? No way!

Some of the key ways you can avoid circulation problems as a diabetic are things you probably don’t want to do, but you need to do: quit smoking, eat healthier, and exercise regularly.

Additionally, Sante Global sells a product called L-Arginine, which is an advantageous product for diabetics. It’s a supplement made from natural ingredients that you could take to increase blood flow through your body. L-Arginine includes nitric oxide, which opens up blood vessels, allowing more oxygen to flow throughout your circulatory system. You should try it if you’re presently dealing with circulation problems due to diabetes or other factors, and enjoy the results.

L-Arginine Truths: Six Myths Answered

Friday, July 26, 2013 8:20:10 AM America/Chicago

Have you ever wondered the truth about health supplements? A mix of information about supplements was misunderstood or passed down incorrectly over time, leaving us with a few myths. Myths are untrue facts that many believe to be true, solely because so many people believe them.

Here are the true answers to common questions and warnings about health supplements.

  • Supplements that promote muscle growth are steroids

False. Many muscle-boosting supplements produce Creatine, which is not like a steroid; your body produces it naturally. Steroids are strong drugs that increase testosterone levels to enhance performance. When taken in excess, steroids are very dangerous and addicting.

  • You cannot gain muscle while you burn fat

False. Dieting and supplementing that diet with L-arginine promotes muscle growth, using Creatine. This helps muscle build while you burn fat.

  • You can get the same amino acids by eating certain foods

Conditional. You could, but you’d have to eat food in portions 3 or 4 times the average size. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you have to.

  • Erectile Dysfunction is a natural part of a man’s anatomy as he ages

False. Many men live full, long lives without experiencing erectile dysfunction. Supplements like L-arginine exist to promote healthy blood flow to all vital organs. This helps treat ED, making life easier for the patient.

  • You can take supplements to promote muscle growth and fat burn even when you don't work out

False. Nothing will ever replace a healthy diet and a good workout. Supplements help the process, but they don't do the work for you.

  • Our bodies produce enough of the semi-essential nutrients and amino acids, supplements are a waste of money.

False. Not everyone’s body works correctly. Your sedentary level and your diet contribute to the production of certain vitamins and amino acids. If you’re suffering from an arginine deficiency, a supplement could make your life much easier.
